Review summary
Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews
This hotel offers a unique blend of historic charm and breathtaking ocean views, making it a memorable destination for couples seeking a romantic escape and sightseers eager to explore the local area. Its signature feature is its dramatic cliffside setting, providing unparalleled vistas of the sea and stunning sunsets. While many guests are captivated by the hotel's vintage architecture and the tranquil sound of the waves, it is widely acknowledged that the property is significantly aged and in considerable need of renovation. Despite its dated appearance, the hotel holds immense potential and is appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere, making it suitable for solo travelers and families looking for a quiet retreat. A key tip for future guests is to be prepared for cash-only payments, as card machines are frequently reported as non-functional. Additionally, managing expectations regarding the hotel's current condition, which is undergoing slow repairs, will enhance the overall experience.
