About Los Angeles County Fair

The first Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona was held in 1922 and lasted for only 5 days.
In the meantime the longest running fair in the United States lasts for 18 days, with live thoroughbred horse racing on offer on 16 days.

The fair wants to introduce its visitors to the heritage of California and there will be traditional fair food, arts and crafts like quilting, an operational farm, horticulture, agriculture and livestock exhibits, a garden railroad and more. Further entertainment can be found in a variety of shows which include an air-show, barnyard races, a stunt dog show, fireworks, carnival, live music concerts, rides and much more.
