Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
The hotel's most notable feature is its exceptionally central location, placing guests within easy walking distance of major attractions like Place Stanislas and the train station. Guests frequently highlight the friendly staff and good value for money, making it a suitable choice for budget travelers and sightseers exploring the city's historical and cultural offerings. While many appreciate its vintage charm and unique character, some reviews point to the hotel's dated appearance and occasional cleanliness issues, particularly regarding room maintenance. It's particularly well-suited for short-stay visitors or those transiting, seeking a convenient base without breaking the bank. To ensure a comfortable stay, guests are advised to confirm specific room amenities upon arrival and consider bringing their own toiletries, as these are sometimes inconsistently provided, and to be prepared for the hotel's older aesthetic.
