Hotel Daniel Vienna (Vienna, Austria)

Guests loved the central location of the hotel. The trainstation and a streetcar station are only minutes away, making it easy to explore the city via public transport. The extensive Belvedere gardens are right next to it. Restaurants and other shops are in the neighbourhood.

The hotel has a very modern design vibe to it, something that guests found quite charming. A lot of guests mentioned for example a hammock that is in the room as a fun extra. The rooms were clean, well appointed and comfortable. The free Wi-Fi worked well.

Many guests loved the quality of the food in the restaurant right in the hotel. Guests felt they received great service and the prices were moderate. The breakfast also received good reviews. The restaurant is also designed with a modern vibe, making the whole experience exceptional.

The shower and sink are part of the room, only the toilet is in a private area. Guests felt this design was a bit odd, especially when traveling with somebody they are not that close to. The shower walls are made of glass and don't offer much in terms of privacy.

Guests often had trouble with street noise or noise from other rooms. The rooms are not sound insulated and the street in front of the hotel is quite busy. A pair of earplugs works as a remedy, or request one of the rooms facing away from the street, though these are not always available.

The rooms have no traditional drapes, but modern slat blinds. Many guests were irritated by early morning light and the inability to get the room to a comfortable level of darkness. An eye mask might be in order if you're woken up easily by light.
