Review summary
Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews
A peaceful mountain retreat for dedicated winter sports enthusiasts.
This property is a quiet haven for travelers seeking a traditional Japanese ski experience. The hotel sits directly opposite the Ichinose ski area slopes, a prime position rounded out by a well-equipped on-site ski rental shop. Guests frequently praise the traditional Japanese banquets served each evening, and those staying for longer durations may find the self-service laundry particularly convenient for managing their gear. While the common areas offer modern comfort, the property maintains an authentic, historic atmosphere that appeals to those prioritizing slope access over contemporary room design.
Some guests mentioned: inconsistent climate control, dated guest rooms, limited onsen hours.
