The hotel's concierge is very warm and friendly and appears to be very knowledgeable about the points of interest near the hotel and various other tasks the guests require from him. The concierge embraces his role and goes out of his way to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
The hotel is close to very many restaurants, pubs and shops. Bentota Beach is just a short walk away and there is an outdoor pools onsite as well as tennis courts and squash courts. Everything you need is within a reasonable distance.
There is a long wait at the restaurant and bar during peak seasons. Tables can get full quite quick and guests have to wait for a considerable amount of time in order to place their orders and get served.
Some guests have complained that the furniture in their room is very dated. Some pieces of furniture appeared to be run down and a bit ragged in some areas. Some were in the opinion that the hotel could do with a bit of updating.
Some guests voiced their concerns regarding the expensiveness of the rooms. They felt that they were way overcharged as compared what was being offered in rooms. Some felt they did not get value for their money.
